We offer delivery of Rental Equipment in the Metro St.John’s region. Rental Equipment deliveries in Mount Pearl, Paradise, CBS & St.John’s are completed by our drivers.
Rental Equipment Delivery outside of these areas is generally handled by third party tow trucks. We also rely on third-party tow companies to move equipment in the metro St.John’s region, in the case our drivers have a full schedule.
Let’s break down our delivery costs:
Deliveries completed without a trailer cost $50 each way. For example: If we deliver a truck-load of scaffold, it costs $50. If it fits in the truck, it costs $50. We’ll also pick up the items from your site at the same rate.
Deliveries of small equipment, like space heaters & scissor lifts require the use of a trailer, and cost $60 each way.
Delivery of larger equipment, like: rough terrain scissor lifts, forklifts, 3.5 ton excavators costs $80 for delivery & $80 for pick-up.
These rates are applied within a 15 km radius of our shop at 1281 Topsail Rd, in Mount Pearl.
If we’re headed East, towards Torbay, the cut off for the rates mentioned above is by the Cahill building on Torbay Rd.
If we’re headed towards the Goulds, these delivery rates reach to Bay Bulls Big Pond.
When headed West in the direction of CBS, We’ll deliver to the Kelligrews boundary.
If you’re outside of this radius, delivery rates are: $3.50 per KM, for items that fit in our pickup truck. $4 per KM for truck and trailer with small equipment. $5.50 per KM for larger equipment on the trailer.
There are certain items we can’t deliver on our trailer, like our Articulating Boom Lifts. In this case, we’ll get a quotes from tow companies and provide you with the best quote to be delivered within your time frame.
We do the same for deliveries that are outside of our delivery radius. We can get the equipment to smaller communities outside of town, but delivery is more expensive because we rely on tow companies for delivery. In most cases, the cost is reasonable, and they’re able to deliver within the same day or next day.
When it comes to the Products we sell, such as cold patch, rags, asphalt sealer, we ship across Newfoundland, and Canada, by courier. We have an abundance of customers in Western Newfoundland who rely on our prompt delivery services. Generally, we ship out order in the same day, if out-of-town customers call us before 11am, and we arrange the shipment with the courier before their cut-off time. This type of shipping requires the customer to have an account with us.
Let’s talk more about new customers setting up an account with us:
New out-of-town customers who want to pay by Credit Card over the phone are required to fill out our credit authorization form, and send us photos of the front and back of their ID. This process provides us with an extra layer of protection against fraudulent purchases.
This is the payment procedure for new customers looking to pay for products over the phone, and need out-of-town delivery. Please note, this is not required for customers purchasing products in-person at our store. Local customers paying in-person can pay by credit card, debit, or cash.
Rentals are a different story – all customers seeking to rent equipment, need to provide us with an ID and credit card before we can provide them with any rental equipment. New customers in Paradise, Mount Pearl, CBS, St.John’s, and the surrounding areas come into our shop with their photo ID and Credit Card, prior to proceeding with a rental.
International deliveries are fulfilled by third-party couriers. If your company has an account with any of the big shipping companies, you can provide us with your account number and we’ll ship the products on your account. If you don’t have an account with any of the companies we ship with, we’ll ship on our account and add the shipping price to your invoice.
